Unlicensed Peddlers

Email from the Ypsilanti Township Office of Community Standards - Bill Elling, Ordinance Officer:
There are persons within the Twp who are attempting to sell electric/gas services to Twp home owners promising them their bills will not go up etc. Now they are representing themselves as Government employees, which they are not.
This unknown group and their employees do not have Peddlers Permits. If any calls are received concerning this group please treat this as any other solicitor complaint. I ask that you find out the company they claim to represent and forward me the contact information so I can put an end to this.
